At Amerimont Academy, we've created a community of learners who are being constantly challenged by teachers, as well as, their peers to achieve high levels of individual success.

Students use the most up to date technology as a vital tool to enhance learning in all areas of our curriculum.

Each member of our team is fully credentialed and passionate about education. Our educators create opportunities for each child to experience meaningful academic and personal growth. Mrs. Emily Thompson
1st Grade Teacher

Mrs. Thompson has been teaching since 2013 with ages 4-6 years old. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with an Emphasis in Intercultural Studies. In addition, she has her Teaching Credential from Biola University. Mrs. Thompson is bilingual in Spanish which adds incredible value to the school. She is passionate about technological and hands on learning in the classroom!
Mrs. Teresa Shubin
Kindergarten Teacher

Mrs. Shubin has experience in education since 2005. Her experience includes; Principal/Program Director, eight years as a credentialed classroom teacher, district coach and team lead, and three years in early childhood development. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from Cal State University Dominguez Hills. She completed her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at Cal State University San Marcos. Mrs. Shubin’s number one goal as an educator is to increase student achievement through focus on standards and objectives, providing students the opportunity to excel at their level.
Mrs. Kristeena Sanchez
Second Grade Teacher

Mrs. Sanchez has taught in the primary grades since 2010. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with an Emphasis in Music in the Classroom, along with her multiple subject eaching credential from Azusa Pacific University. She also received her Master of Arts Degree in Digital Learning & Teaching from Azusa Pacific University as well. She is passionate about educational technology and music in the classroom. She is passionate about integrating educational technology and music in the classroom to promote an excitement and love for learning.
Yan Zhang
Music Teacher
Yan Zhang is currently pursuing her master degree in Piano Performance at APU (Azusa Pacific University). She obtained her BM degree in music from Inner Mongolia University in China in 2000, and she has been teaching and performing music for more than 20 years. Yan Zhang likes going to the beach. She also enjoys watching hockey games.
Michelle Bustle
STEM Teacher
Michelle graduated from Transylvania University with her K-5 Elementary teaching credntial. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree as a Literary Specialist. When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys running, exploring the outdoors, spending time with her husband and watching Netflix.
Mrs. Ma
Mrs. Ma is bilingual and a native Mandarin speaker who is passionate about teaching and making language development fun and interactive. Prior to becoming a teacher and a mother, Mrs. Ma worked as a certified public accountant at a global public accounting firm and was a teaching assistant at the college level. She earned her B.S. degree in finance from Wuhan University in China and Master’s degrees in accounting, economics, and statistics from the University of New Mexico. Outside of teaching, she enjoys spending time with family, taking recreational martial arts classes, and ice skating.
Miss Thaurice Milloy
Multi-Age Teacher

Miss Milloy has been teaching since 2013 with Kindergarten through 5th grade.  She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia and spent two summers abroad in Modena, Italy, teaching English to summer campers.  In her free time, Miss Milloy loves doing yoga, going to the beach and adding stamps to her passport.  She is thrilled to join the AmeriMont Academy team as a substitute teacher.
Miss Sabrina Kelley

Miss Sabrina joined our extended care team in 2016. She has over five years’ experience working with children and brings great energy to the school environment. She is currently earning her Bachelors of Arts degree in English Education from California State Polytechnic University. With a cheerleading background, she promotes unity and team spirit to Amerimont.
Miss Jordan Cropley
Extended Care Teacher

Miss Jordan joined our extended care team in 2017. Currently a student herself, she is working toward a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art with teaching credentials to follow. For the past four years, Miss Jordan has worked with both adults and children teaching art of different mediums in social settings and now shares her time between Amerimont Academy and teaching art for Parker-Anderson Enrichment. She enjoys working with children, encouraging expressions of their individuality, and is thrilled to watch their personalities develop, as she too, grows as a mentor and teacher.
